How do I get of a stain on a purple jacket?

I spilled hot cocoa on it. It is brownish, it is noticeable, and it is on a pocket. Do not suggest tide laundry detergent if it work because I am allergic. Please help? i might put a patch on it if all else fails, but I really do not want to.
The stain has beem there for 2 weeks or so…

    Use a bristle brush first to remove as much as possible is there is still any surface residue. Then how you proceed depends on what fabric your jacket is.

    Read the fabric guide first, but one of the things I would try is dish detergent. Blot the stain with a sponge moistened with water and dish detergent. Continue blotting and rinsing and see if it makes a difference.

    If your jacket is washable, try some of the suggestions at these sites, and then wash as you normally would.
