If you dried it when you washed it you set the stain in and it will be harder to remove. If so try spraying some WD 40 on the stain and rubbing it in then rewash. I have heard that Coca Cola will remove a set in grease stain but I Haven’t tried it so I don’t know if it works. oh and if you want to buy something to get it out I recommend Lestoil Heavy Duty cleaner.

Have they all ready been dried in the dryer? If so you will never get it out. The stain is set from the heat of your dryer. If you haven’t, try Dawn Dish soap. Rub in let set for a while then try spraying Shout stain remover on the stain. Rub in and let set for a while. Wash in cold water/cold rinse and let air dry.

Ammonia is a very good grease cutter. Try soaking the shorts in ammonia and warm water for about an hour (more or less). Then rinse and launder as usual. I don’t think I’ve ever had a grease stain that ammonia can’t remove.
