best stain removercleaning suppliesjanitorial suppliesremoving stains

They are white cotton capris, not jean material. the stains are just small streaks, the longest one is about 2 inches long. they got the rust from the dryer. they have been in the dryer 1x after they got the stain. I have tried oxyclean, bleach, and kaboom nothing has worked. i love these pants and would appreciate any suggestions.

Try using a bleach pen – they work good for me on white clothing. Then wash as usual in warm water.

    Cream of Tartar

This is available in the spice section at your grocery store.

Dissolve it in hot water in a pan on the stove. You may have to let it sit for awhile, but it will take out rust stains from rusty water.

Use about a tablespoon of this to a quart of water. You may need to boil the clothes in the water for about 10 minutes.

try rubbing the stain with ordinary soap<bar of soap not squirty soap> before putting it in the washing machine at normal wash instructions. good luck.

A product called C.L.R. took rust out of my white towels. You can find it at almost any store.

I secondly recommend CLR..not too much of it though.

There is a product called Rust Out. It is great for whitening up dingy whites, too. Strong stuff. It has worked for me every time on rust stains and a couple of other hard to tackle stains.
