LOTS AND LOTS of club soda. Pour it on the stain and then lay a towel over it to let it soak for a few minutes. Then start blotting it up. Wal-Mart has an inexpensive carpet shampooer for about $60. When we got a boxer about 18 months ago, that’s what we invested in. It was a life saver!! :)

"Rug Doctor" makes a great product for removing urine stains and smells. You can find it where you rent "rug doctors". Grocery stores, wal mart…

Use white vineagar or use Borax…both are wonderful products for smells in carpet or clothes and both are affordable.

If you don’t already own a wet/dry shopvac.. Get one even a small one for about $25-$50 it’s the best cleaning tool ever! I use mine about 2x or more a week.. .It has more power than a carpet scrubber and you can use it on the cars as well…

*I use a bit of soapy water.. Usually Woolite gentle laundry detergent or even regular detergent 1/4 c… I also add about 1/2 cup of baking soda and let it dissolve in the water… **I have SPRAY N WASH with RESOLVE it’s fantastic!

*Remember to take the paper filter out of the wet/dry shopvac.

*Spray pretreater on stain and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes

    * Use a rag to saturate the area to be cleaned… Let sit for a few minutes and then suck up water/soap/urine with shopvac.. You may have to repeat process several times…

*Rinse area with clean cool water and suck up with wet/dry vac… Rinse, repeat….

    Let dry…

    Good luck
