How do I get rid of salt stains from my Uggs?

My Uggs have gotten to be in pretty rough shape does anyone know the best way to get rid of the stubborn salt stains? I have tried scrubbing my boots with water and a sponge but it just spreads the salt around. What’s the best and easiest way to get rid of the stains without damaging the suede (my Uggs are chestnut color aka light/sandy brown)

    i have uggs too(doesnt everyone) and before i wore them i sprayed them with the Ugg Stain Repellant they make. I also bought the stian remover, which has worked wonders. I got out a stain from grass, another from chocolate, coffe, and salt. They can be found pretty much anywhere that sells Uggs :)
