i always use baby powder as soon as i notice a stain. It will absorb some of the grease. Then follow up with Dawn foaming dish soap, rinse and repeat in your sink till clean!

There is a product called "White Wizard" that works well on vegetable oils, petroleum products, and many other stains.
It needs to be vigorously rubbed in with a coarse washcloth or brush.
The clothing can then be washed in any detergent.

It’s available in alot of stores and the Internet.

Beilieve it or not you can also spray the pot with w-d 40 rub gently and wash right away and this will also take the spot out and you can get this from the shop you work in bonus for you.

Grease, food, grass, blood, lipstick, etc.. are of a protein base: put full strength liquid laundry detergent on stain & sub into material. If heavy stain, repeat (use brush if material allows it), wait 3-5 minutes & toss into laundry load.
If was hard or large stain, check area prior to dryer in case you need to repeat.

As a mechanic I know the secret. One 1/4 cup of tide and one can of COKE, in the washer. Wash the pants regular like. The Grease will be gone when it is done. It has to be those two brands, do not substitute. They interact with each other. Don’t know why, but it works.
