I have a purple leather La-Z-Boy and it leaves faint red stains on white clothes and khakis. Is there anything I can do to the couch to prevent this problem?

I’ve had this used couch for 10 months and haven’t noticed the problem until recently. I would like to know why it’s leaving stains all the sudden, but the most important thing is stopping this problem. Thanks!

Oh, and it’s used. I’ve had it for 10mo., but it’s 12-years-old.
