How do I prevent white stains appearing on my black clothes after I do laundry?

Every time after I’ve done a load of laundry, there are always random white marks on my black clothes.
I don’t use bleach, the stains aren’t bleach stains. After the black clothes are done, the white stains go away if you put warm water on them.

I have experienced white spots on my dark pants and found it was the fabric softener I was using. Try using a cup or so of vinegar in the rinse water and not using fabric softener.

Stop using bleach on your other clothes. Switch to Oxyclean instead.

it might be detergent stains you may be using too much detergent and its not coming off

switch to liquid instead of powder and does correctly

It sounds like your clothes are coming in contact with chlorine bleach that was spilled nearby before they even go into the washer or there may be bleach in the washer tub before you put the clothes in.

Be very careful about what your clothes are coming in contact with as you put them in the washer. Even the edge of the washer could have remnants of bleach on it. Be especially careful of any bleach dispensers that are part of the washer, itself.

The good news is that if they are subject to fading from bleach, a black Magic Marker will fix the spots.

if you are using detergent that is not properly dissolved you will get these spots, on your clothes, so make sure that you dissolve it before adding your laundry to the washer by running the agitator a few seconds , some detergent t dissolve better in warm water , I use Tide and I have never had this problem with it , although I had it with other brands. Make sure to rinse the clothes properly and that you have the water level according to your load , make sure that the rinse water always comes out clear.

Than the other problem could be that there is some lint left in the washer from a previous load

If you are using powdered detergents, mix them with warm water prior to putting them in your machine.

    Use less powder detergent.
with dark colors you don’t need a lot of detergent and plus it helps keep color from fading

1st try adding a rince cycle to your normal laundry routine.
2nd switch from powder detergent to liquid.
3rd if you use color safe bleach try switching to oxiclean.

hope your black come out better :)
