there is a product that is called awesome it is a liquid cleaner that u should spray on your counter and let it sit for awhile. i say anywhere from half hour to hour, use something to scrub it off,(depending on the top of countertop) I guarantee it will come off, I live in Niagara county and I buy this product from dollar stores. I swear by this product.

3 Years? Your kitchen must be a health hazzard!
One of the best cleaning items on the market in UK is Cillit Bang. It cleans almost anything very quickly and without much effort. You could also use a strong bleach, but Cillit Bang is good for grease and grime. There are several different types of this product. You can get the liquid Cillit Bank in handy spray bottles or it also comes in crystal form. All are very good. Good luck with your clean-up!

Try this cleaning cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this …I encourage you to try it out.

castrol super clean. it will take grease off of anything. i have used it on my stove and the engine in the truck. if it will clean that, it will do what you need. look for it in hardware or automotive stores. it is the blue butyl the cuts through the grease. just rinse well as it will leave white marks on glass and paint.
