That’s probably not a bleach stain, sounds like the adhesive they use to attach the rubber sole. (Did you use hot water or dry them in the dryer? That will dissolve the glue and it will leak onto the surrounding fabric.) If that’s what it is, there is nothing you can do about it. If you don’t want to buy new ones I guess you’ll just have to wear them like they are and hope to start a new style.

They have this blueing agent that you can use to counteract the yellow. I think you can get it where the RIT dye is.

    Good luck!

There isn’t anything you really can do. The bleach has physically destroyed and removed most if not all of the colour from the fabric.
Yellow is what is left behind from the bleach’s chemical components.
You say you don’t want to buy new Vans. Okay.
The reality is, you’ll either want new ones or you will have to do something with your old ones, like colour them or something.

The thing about using bleach is that it removed color and stains. You actually damaged the fabric by using too much bleach. You cannot unbleach it and make it white again.

I have spray painted shoes before and they turned out fine. Take the shoe strings out first. Instead of putting one thick coat on them it will turn out better if you put on several thin layers, letting it dry good between layers.

You dont! Just make those your work shoes or whatever and go get a new pair and stay away from bleach!
