How do I remove a blood stain?

I left it soaking all night and it’s almost out – but not quite. I’ve been trying to scrub it out and that doesn’t appear to be working either.
Do you think it’s too late to get it out?

Just keep soaking till it all comes out. Be sure the water is cold. You can also soak in peroxide or milk. If you soak in peroxide do it for a short period then rinse and see if it’s all gone. If not soak some more. You can add an all purpose stain remover as well if you want or all fabric bleach. Just keep working on it, don’t dry till the stain is all out and don’t over scrub. You can harm the fabric.Good luck.

Are you soaking it in cold water? Cold works really well. After you soak it, put it through the wash. I have had clothes with blood stains in them for months because I was too lazy to wash them. I soaked them for a day or so, then I sent them through regular wash. Most of them came out fine (it came out of jeans and pajama pants, but not underwear [okay, know it's obvious where my stains came from]).

Try Shout stain remover and scrub it with an old toothbrush. if not use diluted bleach.

I use bleach to get blood stains off underwear. Just put some bleach and a bit of soap in washer, let the water fill then put the blood stained clothes to wash. It works.

cold water, and if it’s a white shirt/pants/underwear/etc….bleach the area.

if it doesnt work with the cold water its too late and you’ll have to bleach it

No problem, get some oxi-clean and use this, when my daughter was younger, she had some panties the monthly cycle was on they had been washed and dried, and the stuff came out. It sold me on Oxi-clean from that day on. I use it like it’s going out of style.

this might not work for your particular situation, for small spots, your own spit will dissolve your own blood, saturate & rub, then rinse.
