How do I remove a mayo/ketchup grease stain?

best stain removercleaning suppliesjanitorial suppliesremoving stains

I dropped mayo/ketchup mixture on a plain cotton t shirt, pre treated it with Shout, washed with Tide stain releaser then dried it sure that the stain had been removed. But to my dismay, the stain is still there.

Also, any tips on how to remove spots that liquid fabric softner has left?

I know it sounds crazy but use some liquid dish detergent rub it into the stain. then throw it into the wash

I use the Max Resolve Spray and Wash. It gets out almost anything.

I myself have never had a problem with Shout, yet you said it did not work for you. I pre-treat the dry fabric, let it set for at least thirty minutes, then throw in the wash, cold water. Hot water tends to set stains. I rarely have to pre-treat twice.

I do use the rub on Shout, not the spray, perhaps that is the difference.

MY mom had a mustard stain on a white shirt and the stain came off with a bleach pen. Try it!
