For the dye I would soak it in Zout let it set ten minutes scrub the stain with an old toothbrush then run it through a wash cycle. Shout makes a sheet that you put in your washer and it traps any loose dyes in the cycle. They really work well! Also, washing pinks and reds in cold water helps to reduce the chance of dyes bleeding.

As for the rust, you can try to call your local water department. They often have a product that you put in your wash cycle that removes the rust from clothes.

the dye may be tricky… i'm not sure what would work for that

the rust stain… you can use Wink rust remover.. it works well for us on all our rust probs, living in the country and having iron in our water! squirt it on just before washing and it should be gone when it comes out of the washer!

Try goo-gone. You can find it at wal-mart on the chemical aisle. It is usually a small bottle so you will have to look hard. It will remove almost anything. Candlewax, marker, wine, even the stickers decals you put on vehicles.

you can buy rust removers, not sure if it would make a light spot though or not, woolite has just made a cold water wash thats supposed to stop color from one item transferring to another, you might look for that.
