How do I remove a wood stain from my carpet that just won’t come out?

I recently had my carpets cleaned and put my coffee table back down before they had completely dried. Now I have a reddish colored stain, approximately 12 inches x 4 inches at either end of the table. I have tried most major carpet cleaners, but nothing seems to be working. It almost seems as if the wood color has seeped into the carpet. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Don’t know if this only works when the stain is still a little wet, but I got used Goo Gone and it worked. I dripped dark brown stain on my tan carpet and thought that it was all over. Then for some resaon I thought to try Goo Gone on it and it came right out with no problem… I used the kind in the spray bottle.

if you’ve already treated the stain, it could very well be color fast. this means that a chemical reaction has taken place, the cleaners did what the could, but have also made any stains permanent. In the future go with the rug rag stain removal first. Its the least invasive, and most direct solution. It doesn’t have unnecessary chemicals like those all in one blanket cleaners. Try this, it will work for varnish
