How do I remove an ink stain from a 100% cotton shirt?

I can't seem to remove an ink stain from my cotton shirt. I've tried blotting it with alcohol. Putting Gain detergent and letting it sit for 5 minutes and rinsing. Shout doesn't seem to work either. Does anyone have any other ideas?

    Aqua net hair spray maybe but DO NOT let the shirt dry out or put it in the dryer… it will set the stain! You can also try Goo Gone (they sell it at Lowe's). Last resort … you can try sudsy ammonia in cold water. You may have to let it soak for DAYS but its a shot and it won't break down the fibers like bleaches might.Good luck!

    Take it to a dry-cleaners, they can pre-spot it with chemicals and then wash it or dry-clean it.
