My father is a truck driver and comes home covered in all types of oil and oil based 'stuff' and the secret that truck driver's learned is to use a small amount of lighter fluid on the spot then wash in the laundry as usual.

    I'm totally not kidding…

Either the kind you use in a zippo type lighter OR the stuff you use on the BBQ grill work equally fine.

The laundry room is right by our patio so there is always a bottle of lighter fluid for both uses kept up on the shelf.

Squirt a little on the stain to make sure it covers the whole spot then rub it in to the spot for about 30 seconds, throw it in the washer with any other clothes you have to wash, then go wash your hands with soap and water…

A few min's with the fluid on your hands won't hurt you just make sure you wash it off when your done.

If this can get asphalt out of blue jeans then it can get olive oil out of your uniform!

A little bit of baking soda and water… make a paste like mixture in a small dish. With a old toothbrush gently rub into the fabric and let it sit for a hour or so. Then let it sit in the sink in cold water and rewash.

Since you already put it in the dryer you probably won't be able to get it out.

Try pouring some liquid laundry soap directly on the oil stain, then rub it in & wash your uniform in hot water. If that doesn't do it, try some Oxy Clean for laundry, or Shout. Other than that, cannot think of anything else that might work.

The stain will be harder to get the stain out now that the shirt has been washed & dryed. Dawn dish liquid is a great degreaser. Pour a generous amount right on the spot, rub in a little bit, then let it set for a while. Later, if it looks as though the stain is gone, then wash the shirt in cool water, as you normally do.

Spray Oil Eaters on it, it will come out when you launder. It's awesome. You can get it at any large hardware or auto supply store.
