How do I remove an old oil stain from my cement driveway?

I have a set-in oil, grease stain on my cement driveway, besides the fact that it's ugly; my condo association has asked that I clean it up. I have tried a couple different oil removers from the local hardware store and Home Depot. Help!

    Easy. Mark off a designated area with duct tape. Then, get a product called QuikCret. Follow instructions, and put a thin, skim coat over the area.

    This method is only to be used if you've tried everything. Including pressure washing.

    pour a bunch of kitty litter on it, it will absorb a lot of the oil, then
    scrub with a degreaser, and try a diluted bleach for the stubborn
    spots.

    first try using kitty litter. just scratch over it with the soles of you shoes. after that make a mixture of about a cup of bleach to a gallon of water. sprinkle baking soda directly to the cement and scrub it with an old plastic broom using the bleach/water mixture. if that doesn't work get a steam cleaner

    I have had good luck removing oil stains with a soap called Simple Green. It is safe to use (don't drink it even though it smells good) and cuts oil and grease really well. I make a mixture of 50/50/ soap and water and let it soak for awhile then use a stiff broom to scrub at it. It seems to work better than 100%.
    Evidently it needs the water to lift the oil. Then rinse with garden hose. You may have to do it several times but the soap is biodegradable and safe. I use it on anything with oil and grease!!! Even laundry!!!

    I lay the garden hose out in the sun to get the water hot!

    Hi…not tried this on concrete but have used it on block paving. I used petrol (i.e. gasoline). Soak a rag (be very careful!!) and then rub the area. I had to do it 2 or 3 times but it got rid of most of it.

    You will probably have more problems on concrete as it will soak in and the surface is less smooth.

    Scrap off what you can with a putty knife (don't be afraid to dig), then use dry concrete mixture and cover the spot to 1 inch high- let sit for at least 8 hours (no rain!) Scrap again + repair as needed- you may get chunks but o.k. Use separate container for refuse.
