How do I remove this stain from my carpet?

best stain removercleaning suppliesjanitorial suppliesremoving stains

I have several large red stains on my carpet. If this was just a red kool aid stain in might be a lot easier to get out however, it is sunkist, kool aid and everclear mixed. 3 cups of this stuff was knocked off my coffee table onto my beige carpet. We tried to clean it as much as possible when it first happened with mean green but there is still a quite noticeable stain on the carpet. We rent so I really need to get this stain out, Figure it will be easier now then it will be when we actually try to move out. Please Help!!!

I have had wonderful results with Resolve Carpet Cleaner….love the powder form.

Try a steam cleaner , uses just steam not chemicals.

The sooner you dilute the stain the better. I have a friend who spilled a pitcher of red drink mix on her beige berber carpet. She just went into the kitchen and got a big gallon jug of water and poured it right on the stained place, soaking and completely diluting away the red color.
I’d make a paste of OxyClean and scrub it into the stained carpeting, leaving it for half an hour or so to work, then renting a RugDoctor or using a rug cleaner machine to clean the carpet area. Don’t use the foamy spray cleaners, they just leave a soapy, gummy residue.
