spray on some carpet cleaner – try woolite in a dark blue bottle with an oxy booster stuff about 3 dollars at walmart – i used this for light tan carpet before i moved out and this was after 3 roomates and a roomate who decided to get a dog a couple weeks before she moved out as well as the carpet around the doorway (where everyones icky shoes seemed to pile up)……… all stains came out
i sprayed a generous amount and let is soak in.. then went back about 1 hr later and sprayed a lil bit and scrubbed lightly with a brush and dab with a cloth
if the stain is new and not set in.. spray it with some window cleaner, scrub and it should come out ( poor college students come up with alternatives!)

you need to get as much moisture out of the carpet with a clean dry towel. Sprinkle a little Baking Soda on the stain and lightly brush it in the carpet. Then pour a little Hydrogen Peroxide onto the spot. It will foam up and you will then blot it up with a clean dry towel. Repeat until stain is gone.

The best carpet cleaner is one cup of ammonia with one cup white vinegar in hot water and use this in your steam carpet cleaner instead of commercial products.

You can try using Spray Nine cleaner/degreaser. It works as a stain remover for all types of carpeting except wool.

Is it a new stain? I love the resolve that comes in a double barrel can Oxy deep I think. If you catch it right away it should work great. Otherwise you may need a few treatments.

I always have a product called "SPOT SHOT" around my house to get rid of stains…even old ones. You can buy it for about $5 anywhere and it’s a blue & orange aresol can…find it near the carpet cleaning products.

You wont regret it and will wonder how you ever lived without it! Its AMAZING!

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/311413/how_to_clean_your_house_with_baby_products.html Read this article about cleaning tips – they actually suggest using baby wipes to get out carpet stains. They worked on some old pet stains, all you have to do is scrub for a few minutes and it’ll come right up, it should work on soda too. Good luck!
