How do you get a grease stain out…HELP!!?

Hi,
I was wearing my husbands new sweatshirt today and he told me I better not get anything on it. After reasuring him I wouldn’t I decided to fry some food… Dumb,dumb,dumb….. I know!
Anyway I of course got little grease splaters all over it. I doused it in "Spray N Wash" and threw it in the washer. My husband finally decided to help with the laundry and threw it in the dryer (I didn’t tell him). The grease stains are still all over it. Can someone please tell me if there is anyway to get them out.

    How about trying shampoo and dish soap?? Works very well!! LOL

    Get some Dawn dish soap and soak the sweatshirt in the sink with warm water. Dawn is a grease lifter. My Mom-in-Law uses this method for my DIL’s jeans. Works very well. I personally do this ALL the time to mine and my husbands shirts! I have found that SHOUT works a lot better than Spray N Wash also. Try the DAWN though first. Make sure it soaks for a while then wash as usual. Good Luck!

    Oh no too bad it’s been dried. You could still try some gojo handcleaner rub it on the spots let it set for a day and wash it in as hot of water as it can stand by hand and lots of dawn. Other than that buy him a new shirt. Next time wear an apron thats what I had to resort to cause I get grease all over my clothes cooking too.

    I like Shout better than Spray N Wash:) Try it with Shout and let it set on there for about an hour, then wash it in Gain with Bleach. (I swear by this combo:) Turn your washer off and let it soak, after the wash cycle has ended, but before it drains and then run it thru the wash cycle again. Check just to make sure before you dry it again, but I’d just about bet money it WILL get out the grease….Husbands know how to use dryers????LOL

    Clorox oxi magic soak in sink with hot to very warm water with a scoop of oxi then wash as usual all stains will be gone even after drying and it’s color safe

    Try using Bio-Zip, FEB or BREEZE on the stain as these detergents contain enzymes. Or you could use soda(you could get it from a nearby bar) and soak the patch in soda.

    the drier sets in stains…
    the only hope, and it may not work, is a long soak in oxy-clean then let dawn dish soap sit on the stains while the shirt is still wet, then wash in cold water, if that don’t take them out yu better go buy him a new shirt.

    Try Resolve, the spry for carpets, stubborn stains!!!

    Or any product with "potasa" ,is a white paste base, will do. This was used in old times, to take the stains out.

    trust pink..forget stain. Clorox is also a good stain remover.
