The shirt is denim blue.
I did NOT put it in the dryer after the first wash.

You can try bleach (or a bleach pen) if it is white. If not the only thing I can recommend is OxyClean (you and get it at WalMart or The Dollar General). I’ve had stuff with bad stains and it really worked. Also OxyClean for babies clothes even Dreft stain remover works good, it use to work good on my sons clothes when he was a baby. Good luck

This happened to me! To my favorite white shirt, at the time. A friend told me to use Fels Naptha soap. I'd never heard of it, but I found it. It is a bar soap, usually on the top shelf in the clothes detergent aisle. Dampen the stain. With an old wet toothbrush, scrub the bar of soap, then scrub the stain. Keep it up until the stain has faded. Wash as usual (don't let the soap sit long, it will burn a hole in the fabric).

If it worked on white, it should work on denim blue.

Get an good de-greasing dish soap like Palmolive or Dawn and put it on the area. You don’t really need to rub it , just dab it around. You might want to spray it with Shout though. Then you can wash it with Clorox 2 for colors or Oxy Clean with your regular detergent. What’s more important is NOT TO PUT IT IN THE DRYER!! Let it air dry, b/c if the stain hasn’t removed you can wash it again with something else. If you put it in the dryer, it will “set” the stain and it’ll NEVER come out!
