how do you get a red wine stain out of the carpet?

I had some wine last night and I woke up this morning to see that I had spilled some drops of wine on my beige carpet? whats the best way to remove that eyesore before my girlfreind see’s what I did?

    Try spraying it with Shout Stain Remover. Scrub it in then let it set for a while. Then rinse it out with cold water. You may have to repeat if the stain doesn’t come out. Tide To Go pen may also work. Just do not put hot/warm water on the stain because this will set the stain and you may never be able to get it out. Good Luck!!!

    Here is a site that I would highly recommend. They have very high quality stain removal techniques. I would suggest repeating the process after the first application, and rinsing the rug out with cool water in between applications. Best of luck!
