How do you get a tiny food-grease stain out of clothes?

I just dripped a small amount of cheese grease onto some (pricey!) cotton athletic pants! Is there a way to get that stain out? I have NOT washed the pants yet, and NO they haven't been put in the dryer (two things i know usually set stains). Can I do something?? Someone has to have a remedy!!

    Heather has it right on.
I usually keep a bottle of Dawn in my laundry room.
When you have kids you will keep a whole bottle there too.

If the Dawn dish soap doesn't work try a little Goo-gone, let it sit for five minutes and then wash as normal.

Dawn dish detergent works really well. Just let the area soak in it after you have wet the spot, then wash as normal and for added help add a spoonful of oxy powder in your wash. Works really well.

Keep Lestoil around for grease stains. Pretreat and wash. Directions are on the bottle. :)

Dawn, Simple Green and Ivory soap are great grease removers. Let them sit with cold water and your choice (The new Dawn with Bleach Alternative has become my favorite here at work – I own a laundromat)

I use Cloudy Ammonia on all grease/food stains.
You can either spray the stain with it or soak it in warm water with a splash of Cloudy Ammonia.
