how do you get a wine stain out of the carpet?

I had some wine last night and I woke up this morning to see that I had spilled some drops of wine on my beige carpet? whats the best way to remove that eyesore before my girlfreind see’s what I did?

    I like Spot Shot carpet stain remover, Resolve is okay, too. Spray the stain with stain remover and remove the stain using an absorbent cloth. You might have to repeat the process to get the whole stain out. When it comes to red wine stains, the sooner you get to it, the easier it will be to remove.

    Here is a site that I would highly recommend. They have very high quality stain removal techniques. I would suggest repeating the process after the first application, and rinsing the rug out with cool water in between applications. Best of luck!
