How do you get coffee stain off your coffee pots?

Is there some magical trick to getting the coffee stain/grime off your coffee pots – I tryed letting them soak, and I scrub them almost daily…

    we used to have a restaurant and it's easy – salt and crushed ice – works like a charm and I have no idea why.

    run a combo of half water and half white vinegar through your coffee pot, then let it sit in the pot for about 5 minutes,. It will wipe clean.

    Soak in hot bleach water with a little dish detergent-Works for me every time!

    bleach i t okay i am not sure if it works but it has to wait make sure that it is a white coffee pot

    put salt and hot water in the pot and shake it around and guaranteed its goin to come out

    Run vinegar through the coffee pot, yes heating it too. It will stink, but it will clean the coffee stains you dont see out of your machine and out of the pot (you still may have to scrub a lil).

    White vinegar also works, just soak it and the stains should come off! Good luck!

    You can let them saok in vinegar …. the acids in it should get it off that is what i do …… it might also be time to get a new coffee pot… :)

    You can fill it with Coca-Cola and let it sit for a while. The acid in the Coke will eat away at the coffee residue.

    Clorox Clean up… spray, let sit and rinse… great for the filter basket too.

    You can get tablets at supermarket or have heard bicarbonate of soda is good or weirdly denture tablets.

    I've soaked my glass one in bleach but be sure to wash and rinse well.

    Soak in a sink full of hot water, dish detergent, and a little bleach. Works like a charm!!!

    It's actually ice, salt, and lemon juice. Swirl around for a couple, then dump out and rinse.

    Run CLR through it, but then be sure to run clean water through it 3 times after words. Then once a month run vinegar through it.

    Put two tablespoons of automatic dishwasher detergent in them with very hot water and soak. Be sure to wash them with regular soap and water and rinse VERY well!

    I never could get coffee stains out of my coffee carafes by scrubbing with a pad. But scrubbing with a little bit of baking soda works beautifully.

    ice (crushed is best) and salt. swirl until you have melted some of the ice and then rinse out with warm water.

    If it's glass, try boiling water and ammonia and leave it soak. Works great on tea stains also.

    Just put them in the dishwasher once in a while. We rinse ours out after every use, but only wash it when it's really dirty. The coffee mugs get the same treatment. Isn't that what a dishwasher is for?.

    Try baking soda. Wet it just enough to make a paste, and scrub away the stains. No harmful chemicals to be concerned with.
