How do you get DRIED nail polish stains off your jeans without messing them up?

I spilled purple nail polish all over my favorite jeans. I tried nail polish remover and it doesn’t work.

    Did you use Acetone-free nail polish remover? Because you’re right…acetone-free remover doesn’t work.

    Soak the area with either straight Acetone or Nail Polish Remover that contains Acetone. You can buy Acetone at any hardware store.

    Soak and re-soak for about a half an hour. Then remove as much nail polish as you can with a rag, and launder the jeans as usual. Repeat if necessary.
