Soak the sheets in cold water with a hefty amount of table salt – this should lift the stain. Then wash in biological washing powder/liquid.

If your bed sheets are white just use bleach.

    and lol :P

Get a soft scrub brush and put a little detergent on it and use COLD water. You might have to repeat the scrubbing a couple times but cold water will take blood stains out.

    DON’T USE BLEACH!!

Just let your sheet soak in cold water overnight (I use the bathroom sink). In the morning, wring it out and wash it as usual. Check the stained area before drying. If the stain is still there, use some oxyclean type laundry stain remover. Again let it soak in overnight. Launder as usual again.

Don’t put it in the dryer if it is still stained. Once you run it through the drying cycle, the heat will permanently set the stain (you can’t ever get it out then).

I’ve never had the cold water soak fail on a fairly fresh blood stain. Good luck!!

Even if the stain sits over night, you can use a bar of dial soap (it has to be the gold bar) wet the stain and rub the stain with the soap, rinse the stain & repeat if necessary.

  8. Mr. G says:

soak it with an ample amount of peroxide, that will start breaking down the protein and iron in the blood, then wash in regular cycle but add 1/4 cup of Cascade dish soap, make sure stain is out before drying
