    The easiest, most effective way to remove the stain is by using "Resolve" carpet cleaner. Just be sure to get the "Spray Can" version. You’ll also want a stiff scrub brush. Spray it on, scrub with the brush and then blot it up with a paper towel. You can vacume afterward too. The stuff works kick-a** on coffee stains in cars & trucks.

    First, use dish soap + water to clean it , then, if it isn’t already gone (If it is a light-coloured carpet), baking soda works wonders – make a paste with just a tiny bit of water and scrub it in with a toothbrush, let sit for a few minutes, then SCRUB out the soda. If it is a white carpet, try bleech, but dilute it with warm water.

    Try simple green….. or hand cleaner from your local auto store.
