Give this a try – it’s from an article at the Scott Common Sense Community

When your favorite fire engine red polish takes a spill, it can produce quite a scare! But to make sure you only show off the color on your nails, apply nail polish remover to the stain and lightly blot the stain with dry paper towels. An important caution: Make sure to test the nail polish remover on an inconspicuous area of your clothing, furniture or carpet to make sure the item is colorfast. Next, apply dishwashing or laundry detergent mixed with warm water to remove any residual tint. If the stain remains, you may also want to try a 50-50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. Apply it to the stain, gently blotting, until it vanishes completely.

There’s some cool shit called goof off that might take it out. Don’t saturate the carpet with it. Just put a little on a rag and wipe the stain. If it takes it out wash the area with soapy rag to remove excess goof off then wipe again with a liberally wet rag to mop up the soap.

I poured nail polish remover in my carpet then shampooed it with Resolve. The stain came out.
