How do you get rid of a make-up stain on a carpet?

I accidentally dropped my Loreal cover up on my tan carpet. I tried to get rub it out with a towel but it only made it worse and made a stain in the towel. Do you know how to get rid of it?

    Try a family trick of mine,
    Publix soap and backing soda with some club soda.

    something called resolve i think thats the name. it works really good it gets everything out.

    Well, here are a few things that might work for ya:

    1. 1001, really great
    2. CIF, kitchen cleaner
    3. rubbing alcohol
    4.Make up remover?
    5. SPOT SHOT, works great

    i freaked when my girlfriend when she spilled make-up on our brand new rug. you cannot believe how difficult it is to get make-up out (this was not the first time)! this place has just about everything but their make-up guide was easy and worked fast- the first time.
