Soak them in lemon juice and warm water
To prevent it happening you need to apply a base coat before you apply nail polish. You can find nail base coats just from your local drugstore. I use Sally Hansen’s Double Duty which is also a top coat so it helps the polish stay on a little longer

This is what happened to me after putting on red nail polish on, i’m not sure how to get rid of them but i know how to prevent them in the future, you should always apply a base clear coat before applying nail polish on your nails this prevents it from staining them. Hope this helps!! =]

Try squeezing some lemon juice onto your finger nails and leaving it on there for ten minutes. Or stick your fingernails into a cut lemon for ten minutes. Then rinse and moisturize.

Sometimes this doesn’t work and the only recourse is to wait for your nails to grow the discoloration out. I had this happen to me before and it took over eight months to grow all the yellow out.

Always use a clear base coat on your nails before you apply nail polish to avoid the polish discoloring yournails. The dark polishes are especially bad about staining so definitely use base coats with those.

I’ve had this problem before. Prevent staining by using a base coat before you apply nail colour. To solve your staining now use a four way nail buffer to file the surface of your nail down, then apply whitening toothpaste to the surface of your nails – Try to leave it on for about an hour. I know that sounds crazy but it really does work. Hope this helped :)

Soaking in lemon juice and warm water. Also, soaking in a bowl of warm water with one of those denture cleansing tablets thrown in. Sounds weird, but I promise you it works.
