I got chocolate on one of my shirts and it’s pissing me off. I washing it a bunch of times and used shout advanced and stain devils. What’s left looks like an oil stain or something. It’s really annoying, any tips?

  1. Thrifty Pro says:

Take 1 C. of Cascade Dishwashing Powder, and 1/4 C. Bleach. Mix the powders in the hottest water possible in a plastic container. Let the garment sit in this solution for about 30 min. Agitate the contents of the container every 5-10 min. When the 30 min. is up, remove your garment and check it out.

If your garment is stain free, dry it as you normally would. If there is ANY hint of the stain still showing, repeat the above process until the stain is gone. Usually it works the first time, but some tough stains take longer. If the stain is gone, launder and throw it in the dryer,
NOTE: DO NOT ALLOW GARMENT TO DRY, EITHER IN THE DRYER OR AIR DRY, IF THERE IS ANY HINT OF THE STAIN REMAINING. ONCE IT IS DRY, THE STAIN SETS AND IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO GET OUT.
