How do you get stains from laundry detergent out of carpet?

My children got into the laundry detergent. It was liquid Tide Coldwater Fresh Scent. It was blue.
I used a carpet cleaner with plain water over and over. Then I used carpet soap but I still got bluish stains.
The carpet is tan. I’m pretty sure its the cheap stuff. It was here when I got here.
If you know how to get the stains out please tell me.

    Hi
I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pour hot water (from a kettle) on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time to remove the residue. What the hot water does is opens up the dye ports of the carpet to release the blue dye from the tide. The stain may come back in a few days so you may have to do this a few times. Please DO NOT put anything on the carpet that was not made for carpet. At this point if the stain is still there please call a carpet cleaner. What I have suggested will not lock the stain in.

Only thing left to try is carbonated water. Place a little salt on the stain and pour carbonated water over it .. the (don’t rub) .. dap it up .. and repeat. Good Luck ! :)

resolve and scrub, scrub, scrub, then take a moist towel while the carpet is still wet with resolve and place the moist towel over the stain, take your iron and put it on steam, hold it about 1/4-1/2 inch above the towel and steam away, the stain should soak up into the towel…….
