If water or a mild detergent and water won’t remove it, chances are you’ll have to call a professional and have the marble re-polished. Natural stone is sensitive to acid chemicals (which is what pet urine is at first). Chances are the marble has been etched and the only way to get rid of that is to re-polish. A professional will use various grades of diamond wheels, much like grits of sandpaper, to bring back the shine. After that’s done, have the marble sealed with a penetrating marble seal. Don’t use regular old floor finish.
