Try heating the spot with a hair dryer on the hottest setting. Then using a all-purpose cleaner like fantastic, sprayed on your rag, wipe the spot, this may not get all of the stain however, it should get most of it. ~Good luck… And Happy Holidays

you dont , the wax has soaked into the wood

Use an iron and kitchen towel. Place the kitchen towel over the wax and iron over the top.

Keep moving to a fresh spot on the kitchen towel (or change the sheet) as the was will soak into whatever's easiest (and if the kitchen towel is saturated, that may be your wall.)

Some of the oils in the wax will soak further into the wall/floor, no matter how feqently you change the paper, so make sure that you have scarped off as much as you can before you start doing this.

(the google link should provide a few more tips).

If you have any exta wall paint left over, you can paint over the stain. Not sure about the floor though.

Take a bowl full of ice cubes and set it close to the wax stains. Pick up an ice cube with a paper towel. Using the sharp edge of the ice cube (like an car windshield ice scraper) begin to lightly scrape the wax away from the floor and wall. The ice will freeze the wax and cause it to crumble. When the edges of the ice dull simply use a different piece.

Note- Be carefull not to scrape too hard – you will dent the walls and floors.

    Hope this Helps!

Try Mr. Clean Magic erasers. They work wonders on everything. I have used them to get wax off of my counter top. You can find them at most grocery stores and places like Target and Walmart.

This happened to me but with green wax. I took a brown paper bag and my iron. Not too hot, but hot enough to melt the wax and I just ironed the paper bag and the wax absorbed into the bag. I did the same thing for carpet on the floor. I don't know about hardwood floors though. Also I bought a snuffer for my candles, no more blowing them out. I learned my lesson on that one.
