It is made of cotton pink gingham and like a sheer fabric and the rust stain is on the sheer part :/ ..I have a bassinet that my daughter has grown out of and someone I know wants to buy it. It was an 0 dollar bassinet and I could get good money for it but somehow it got a rust stain on the very front and it is kind of noticable. I'd like to get rid of it before my friend comes and see's it and I have no lemon juice, nor cream of Tarter and I am freaking out. I need an alternative solution Pleaseeee Help me guys!

Salt and Lemon Juice, are apparently the naturalists' solution to rust stains. Just soak the affected area of fabric with lemon juice (maybe scatch at it with a toothbrush a little), and then sprinkle salt over the wet spot to absorb the juices (and rust) out of the fabric. Some say to let the salt dry, some say to scoop it up when the pile gets moist.

It would be worth trying ,wait till you can get to the store to get a lemon. Good Luck!
