How do you remove grease stains from khaki pants that have been washed and dried with the stain?

I have khaki pants that I wear for my job, now lately they have acquired a black grease or some sort of stain always on the right pocket. Theoretically I have solved the source, but is there anyway to remove the stain from it?

This will sound CRAZY…but I used to do this all the time when my ex would spill oil or something on his shirts.

    Buy a can of WD-40
Spray it on the dried in stain
Use some shout over that with the orange scrubby top
    Wash normally
Might take 2 turns of treatment but usually will come out.
WD-40 works good also on ink stains.

No, all you can do is try to lighten it as much as possible – you can soak the pants in a bleach and water mix in the washer to see if it helps – but your pants will lighten also – you can also try the old standby oxiclean directly on it which may help a little, but will not completely take it out.

try zout. if that doesn't work, murphy's oil soap straight on the stain, work in w/ toothbrush and wash.

I have not had the pleasure of having grease stains but some friends of mine SWEAR that the use of Goo Gone works??? It is bought at any grocery store and walmart's, etc.

You can also try good old fashioned dish soap (hand dish soap, not dishwasher detergent). Soak the stain, use a scrubby and really work it in. Let stand overnight, then wash. If stain is still there, do it again.

I would use a spot treatment and maybe wash them a couple times. If that doesn't work I take things to my drycleaner. He can get everything and anything out.

Rule of thumb, if it's grease it will be removed by grease,as long as you pre-treat before you wash. If you wash it first and dry it ,what you are doing is permanently setting it in. And for goodness sake DO NOT USE BLEACH. WD40 will work or any other degreaser. Just rub in, let sit for awhile, then rinse, use some detergent (tide) rub again, then throw in the wash. It should come out.

dawn dish wasing liquid. It will get the stain out even if it has been washed and dried numerous times! just rub some dawn on it and through it in the washing machine.

Dish washing detergent works great but you could also try GOJO. It will get dried on Crayon marks off clothes
