Since you have mentioned it an important paper, I am trying to explain it in detail, please be cautious try it on a sample if possible. Good luck.

By applying bleach will remove the chocolate stain. But the paper color will / may change a little bit (dip a piece of kitchen towel and put it on the paper where u want to remove the stain, DO NOT RUB leave it for few minutes (until the stain disappears maximum in minutes if the stain still stays then, it may be too late to remove the stain so do not continue for long), depending the ink and also the paper strength)

Bleach reacts depends on the ink in the paper.
it removed all sketch / fountain pen marks.
so test with a sample ink before you try with original.

After the process the paper may look a little shrunk, normally you can restore it by ironing the paper (do not iron the paper directly place it in between a dry cloth and iron on top of it with may be warm setting).

try all the different kinds of laundry prewashes. I think there are some new ones out, but I can't think of the names. contact the paper company….would be another option..

you cannot remove the stain from paper as you will further ruin and compromise the rest of the paper as well as its contents. It would be best to just re-type the project and avoid eating while reading to prevent this from happening again
