How to clean ice tea stain from a carpet?

best stain removercleaning suppliesjanitorial suppliesremoving stains

I used some different products and nothig worked.

I used a bissell big green machine and it got the stain out but you can tell where I cleaned the rug. It is a bit darker in that one area then the rest of the carpet.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this spot???

Thanks!

Mix white vinegar and baking soda together until you have a milkshake consistency, apply it to the area and rub it in with a soft bristled brush, (do not scrub you will damage the fibers) put a clean white cotton towel over the area and weight it down, let it sit for an hour and then hit it with the bissel again, then use a little laundry detergent with the bissel to get the vinegar smell out. The vinegar will break down the proteins in the stain, and the baking soda will absorb them away from the nylon or polyester fibers. Make sure you get all of the soap or any cleaning solutions you use out of the carpet, any residue will just attract more dirt and cause the area to get dirtier faster.

I use the pet stain remover especially for carpet ..it works..you might use it for more stain removal ..it is a powerful baking soda solution… and it is odor remover…you can check Wal-Mart or any pet store. I use it often and the carpet looks great.. there is no spot left..Just follow the directions. Easy to use…cheap and safe.
