I washed my knit top with gain liquid detergent. It was the first time I washed it. It was my favorite top.
where can I get the dye and how would I use it? Also what if it comes out and stain the white blouse collar attatched to it.
what’s an applique?

Try using a light brown dye to cover the bleached-out area of your top. The dye should match the non-bleached areas.

Otherwise, cover the spot with other garments, like overlayering with another top, or wear a jacket or scarf.

    Bleach stains are usually permanent.

Bleach isn’t a stain, it’s the removal of color from the fabric. It’s almost impossible to try to match it. If the top was all one color, I’d suggest dying it all a darker color, but with a blouse collar attached, I don’t think that would be possible. Unless you can find something to wear over it, or put an applique over the spot, your top is probably toast. Sorry.
