I’ve had really good luck with Oxiclean sprays. Spray the spot and using a cloth or soft brush rub from the outside of the spot into the middle.
If you don’t have any on hand soak the spot in cold water to keep it from drying further and use regular soap and scrub as above.

Peroxide is really good for getting out blood stains. Just pour some on the spot and let it sit for a minute or two. Then you rinse with cold water.

Hydrogen peroxide works like a charm!

Pour a small amount at a time on the stain then use a clean towel (paper or cotton is ok) to blot the liquid (and blood) away. Keep pouring and blotting until all traces of the stain are gone.

To keep from making a mess, try to pour out no more than a tablespoon of peroxide at one time.

Pour clear karo Syrup on it and rub
    then launder as usual.
