How to get a grease stain out of a shirt?

I have a uniform shirt it's a regualr polo style pullover- and i have a small grease stain on the front of it where i had dropped something while cooking dinner. I almost immediately put Oxyclean on it, but it barely lightened it. Is there any way to get that stain out or am I just down 1 uniform shirt?

    What a great question – and I'm not sure if my suggestion will help but try this.

    Get 2 pieces of paper (brown paper sack – grocery bag)

    Place one piece of this paper on the top of the stain (outside of shirt)

    Place another piece of this paper underneath the stain (inside of the shirt)

    Take an iron and iron over the outside of the paper.

    I am thinking that the heat from the iron will warm up the grease and the grease will stick to the paper.

    I do this to get crayon or melted was out of carpeting and it works. Might work on the shirt too. No guarantees as I have never tried this . Just trying to think creatively here.

    If you already washed and dried the shirt, forget it. But the best thing I know for grease is dish soap, like Dawn or Palmolive. Its made for getting grease off dishes, and it works great on fabric, too.

    If you haven't dried it yet try putting Dawn dishwashing soap on it. If you have already dried it, it may not come out.

    Try the new Tide detergent Pens…Let sit for 15mins, then sprinkle OxyClean on it, and mix around with your finger. Put in wash…spot will be gone!

    I would use Dawn dish soap on it, give it a little scrub(a couple, by what I mean), and throw it into the washing machine after.

    We use this stuff called Greased Lightning. It is GREAT!! I use it for everything and have yet to find a stain that it cannot get out. I have used it for grease, blood, chocolate, rust among others and it has gotten it out every time with no discoloration.

    use vanish of pink and put ur cloth for 24hrs.it is the best way

    use some dawn and soak the stain in water for a good 15-20 min then take laundry detergent and wash it let it dry not in dryer because it will set in and see if stain came out

    I always use "Spray and Wash". You spray it heavily on the spot and then rub fabric together (in the stained area). Then wash in COLD water (use laundry soap as normal) When it comes out, the stain should be gone. I usually let these things that are stained air dry because then I can re-wash them if need be and not have to worry about the stain setting in if I use the dryer. When you cook wearing good (or important) clothing — always wear a high covering apron. You never know when food will splatter or you get something on yourself (by accident of course!)

    My favorite shirt had a grease stain and I had washed it with Tide… nothing happened unitl I used a degreaser and I don't have a stained shirt anymore.

    If you've already dried the shirt, it may be too late but if you haven't use ERA, it gets out all kinds of stains. Orange Miracle from Stanley Home Products is also a great choice.

    Try put on it some flour, then iron it with a moderate heat. Or try
    to remove it by scrape a lemon on it, and rinse it immediately.

    Use Dawn dish soap. The Gojo hand cleaner works great also on all types of stains.
    If Dawn can Clean up Highway spills and save ducks from oil spills then it can sure clean up oil from our cloths.

    Windex, 409, Fantastic or
    keep putting oxyclean on it until it is all out…just don't dry it in the dryer and set the stain
