How to get an ink stain out of a white backpack?

i have some ink stains on my WHITE backpack because a pen broke. :-( .
i have tried Oxiclean, Amway, and the hairspray methods to get it out, but it won’t come out! Any suggestions?

    Spray generous amounts of hair spray on your backpack, then keep blotting up the ink as it begins to break up. DO NOT RUB THE AREA! Use as much hair spray, as it takes to remove the ink. Once the ink is gone, wipe over it well with cold water & blot well until it’s dry. The sooner you treat ink stains with the hair spray, the better.

    Go to a crafts store, buy a cute patch that you like, and put it over the stain. You won’t ever get it out.

    You can get it at most grocery stores. Be sure not to dry the shirt untill the ink is completely out. Sometimes you will find that a stain that doesn’t come all the way out will come out more and more each time it is laundered if you don’t dry it in the dryer.
