When I was using nail polish yesterday I spilled some on my carpet, and got some on my jeans! What is the best solution to getting the stains out?

Go buy nail polish remove that is non-acetone based- the acetone is what removes coloring in clothing/carpeting. Don’t put it right onto the clothing/carpeting, but dab cotton balls or paper towels and use that to pat it out. I have also heard hairspray mixed with water helps to get it out, but haven’t tried it. Good luck!

Wow, Good question, I did the exact same thing yesterday. I thought of polish remover, but was afraid it would take the color out of the carpet. I had some splash on my dogs foot also, so he’s looking rather elegant today. lol Hope to get some answers on this.
