Any tricks on how to get old pet stain (odor) out of carpet, our carpet is white, you cant really see it but it sure smells

    There are two products that I use. Spot Shot comes in a spray can for about $5 and is available in grocery stores. Folex comes in a spray bottle and I get it at WalMart for $5. Folex is more economical as it comes in a 32 fl. oz bottle while spot shot contains 14 oz. Both products are excellent. I thinkit is the enzyme they contain. Any product you can find that has enzyme will work well. Thesse products also remove other stains from carpets.

    Baking soda ges a lot of smells out, try making a paste with that, let it dry and vacuum it up. You can try a pet stain and odor remover from PetSmart/Country Vet. Is there hardwood floor under your carpet? If there is you may never be able to get the smell out because it has seeped into the wood. If the pet stain and odor remover doesnt work, try shampooing the carpet, you can rent a shampooer at Home Depot.

    SPOT SHOT buy it any almost any store (grocery, walmart, target, costco, whatever is in your area). Costs about $4 and even takes TAR and OIL off a carpet.
