How to get orthodontic wax stain out of pants?

I ran my pants accidentally through the dryer with the wax for my braces in it. It melted it and now there is a big stain on the front.
I have already tried the iron thing, it didn't work.
My pants are 100% cotton

    Eucalyptus oil.
    Place a few drops on the stain. Leave for 2 mins. & wash. May have to repeat a few times. At the end wipe with a mixture of Eucalyptus Oil & Metholated Spirits from a rag.

    Just the iron will not work. You get the white wrapping paper, that you put inside a gift box, place it on the wax and with a very hot iron, the wax will come off on the paper. Keep putting fresh paper over the wax and iron it. Depending on how much wax you will have to continue this process untill all wax is up
