How to get rid of a bleach stain in carpet?

After leaving my laundry bag, with the bottle of bleach in it, on my beige carpet, I came to notice bleach leaked out and left a yellow and white stain in the carpet. I live in an apartment so any suggestions that would save me money in the long run would be appreciated!!

You don’t. Bleach removes the color the carpet was dyed.

Unfortunately the bleach has removed the colour from the carpet and you can’t reverse that. It’s not a stain, the carpet has now changed colour. The best thing to do is to place wet paper towels only on the area that has changed and then blot it with dry paper towels to remove any remaining bleach.
(use gloves, bleach is very strong)
    Sorry :(

If you’re feeling bold and artsy, you could try re-dying the spot. I’d get some Rit Dye, mix a little bit up in a bucket, then test it on some white fabric before applying it carefully to the carpet. It probably won’t look exactly like the rest of the carpet, but it might save you some money when you move out.
