Yup, the carpet has changed colors. The way to remove the stain is to carefully cut it out and replace it with a matching piece of carpet (hopefully you will have some).
Another thing you could try is to cover it up. A Sharpie pen close to the carpet color might do the trick. Rit dye is another possible option.

That’s not a stain, the peroxide has bleached the carpet, the orange color is just what little color that’s left. If you still have samples of the carpet left, you could cut out a square and rubber cement a fresh square in. You could dye it but you would probably not get consistent results.

Well, the peroxide bleached the carpet (as I sound like a skipping CD). The person above is right. I know that this sucks but there might be a way to fix it. There’s a blog here: removing cigarette burns out of carpet and it requires cutting some of the same carpet from a closet or area that isn’t exposed and gluing it over the spot that is damaged… the blog goes over it step by step. This might work for you IF the spot isn’t too big… remember its a trick meant for small areas not large ones….

Here’s the blog: Hope this helps

Sounds like you bleached it, nothing you can do about that, it’s not a stain. All you can do is cut a piece of carpet from a closet and piece it in.=)
