Always spot test with a q-tip on the leather before trying to get the entire stain out… this is from experience.

Try a little rubbing alcohol. Dab the stain and let it dry for 10-15 minutes… then rub with a dry cloth. Leather stores sell cleaning kits you could try if that doesn't work. If all else fails take it to a cleaner that specializes in leather. Good Luck!

Try using Windex on your bag. Also, Dawn dish soap, on a white cloth, may help remove the stains as well. I hope you can remove the stains.

i don't anything will take it out but i wouldn't mess around with any over the counter remedy, i'd take it to a dry cleaner that does leather.

You have what is known as dye transfer.

You need a strong detergent cleaner like Maxi Cleaner to try to remove this. (Maxi Cleaner was developed especially for this problem) The dye will have gone into the finish on the leather and the deeper it has gone the harder it will be to remove.
Please do not use solvents or hairspray on this as it may make matters much worse and alcohol may damage the finish.

If Maxi Cleaner does not work then no other cleaner will and you will need to call a qualified leather technician.
A good leather technician will have the proper products to do this and he may have to replace finish and pigment so it is best left to him/her to do.

A good leather protector will inhibit this kind of thing happening again.
