How to get rid of stain on carpet?

Ok so this is probably a dumb question, and not possible at all…

But I bought a vase at Hobby Lobby, and whatever kind of paint that was used to color the vase has stained my carpet.

I think my dog might have peed on it, causing the paint the run off or something.

I have tried everything and can not get it out of the carpet!!

Any suggestions??

I tried to slightly cut the paint out of the carpet but that didn’t work either!

first, stop putting more chemicals on the spot… these may set it in, assuming that hasn’t already happened. If the spot has a noticable texture difference from the rest of the carpet, that’s a good sign… a pro may be able to do something with it. Just avoid any store-bought products that may compound your problem.

If you think it’s from your dog peeing on it, that suggests it might be dissolvable with ammonia. Try dabbing the spot with a clean cloth with some sudsy ammonia on it – if the cloth picks up color, just keep repeating with clean cloths, then rinse with cool water when you’ve got it all.
If ammonia doesn’t do anything, try dabbing it with white vinegar.
I don’t know if it would work on paint, but Oxyclean has gotten out every carpet spot I’ve tried it on.
    Good luck.

if all else fails, you can cut that part of the carpet out, say a plug, then cut a plug from somewhere that won’t be seen, say, under a couch or something, and glue it in the place that was removed.

Reds are difficult to remove. But if I was you i’d try this product called "Hot Spot". it comes in an aerosol and also a liquid form. But I’ve found greater success with the aerosol version. When you spray, use a brush and rub in with a circular motion. If that doesn’t work. I’d suggest cutting that portion of the carpet out and have it replaced. Any carpet installer can replace it… for a small fee of course. Good Luck!
